Broadband technology provides a cost effective Internet access solution for most small businesses. However the increasing demands for faster Internet performance cannot always be met by a single ADSL or SDSL connection.
For businesses requiring faster Internet speeds than can be provided by their existing broadband, Syscomm are able to bridge the gap between cost effective ADSL technology and expensive dedicated leased line solutions through a technique known as line bonding, which can be performed on groups of either ADSL or high upload SDSL services.
Through the aggregation, or bonding of multiple SDSL services it is possible to increase the upload and download bandwidth available in multiples of 2 Mbps for a fraction of the cost of a leased line service, which is especially useful for customers with high upload requirements.
Bonded SDSL also has a built in resiliency against the failure of individual circuits as the link will continue to function so long as at least one of the SDSL lines from the bonded group remains in service during an outage.
Our advanced SDSL bonding technique requires a managed Syscomm router at the Customer premises, which in conjunction with our SDSL Internet services is able to split data across the bonded circuits to offer a single high speed Internet connection with up to 8 Mbps upload bandwidth, delivered across up to four bonded 2 Mbps SDSL services. Traffic utilises the whole capacity of the bonded link for both download and upload. This is far superior to load balancing where the data stream is limited to the bandwidth of only a single channel.
As a fully managed business service Syscomm will continuously monitor the health, availability and throughput of the bonded SDSL connection 24/7. We are proactive in resolving any issues should our early-detection systems identify any individual SDSL line, throughput or hardware issues that may be developing.
As a business focused Internet Service Provider, Syscomm offer the complete solution for managing and maintaining all aspects of your Internet facing network. For complete peace of mind we can include the provision of a Cisco secure enterprise firewall's, configured to support encrypted VPN connectivity for remote office locations and mobile and workers.
