Accelerating the Future of Education
Syscomm and Extreme Networks took to the floor at Bett 2026, connecting with education leaders, exploring cybersecurity resilience, and championing reliable infrastructure for every classroom.
Bett 2026 at ExCeL London was an energising and inspiring experience for the Syscomm team. As a proud Diamond Partner, we were delighted to exhibit alongside Extreme Networks and take part in conversations focused on delivering secure, high-performance networking solutions for education.
From the moment doors opened, there was a real buzz across the exhibition floor, driven by educators, IT leaders, and technology partners united by a shared goal: accelerating the future of education.
At Stand SD32, we spoke with IT leaders from schools, colleges, and universities who were looking beyond big ideas and focusing on practical, workable solutions. The conversations were open, honest, and highly collaborative, centred on the real challenges education institutions are facing today.
“Technology is at its best when you don’t notice it & that’s only possible with dependable infrastructure underneath.”

Key Themes from the floor
One message came through clearly: reliability is everything.
01
Reliability & Resilience
While innovation remains important, many institutions shared that their immediate priority is ensuring their infrastructure is stable and resilient. When networks aren’t reliable, everything else is affected: digital learning tools, safeguarding platforms, assessments, and day-to-day operations.
02
Cybersecurity & Recovery
Cybersecurity was also at the forefront of mind. The focus wasn’t just on prevention, but on resilience to ensure that if an incident occurs, teaching and learning can continue with minimal disruption, and recovery can happen quickly and smoothly.
Where Syscomm Fits In
Our conversations focused on helping educational institutions turn strategy into reality. Rather than large-scale “rip and replace” approaches, we discussed how schools can modernise their networks in manageable, strategic steps: aligning connectivity, security, and visibility to work cohesively.
When those foundations are strong, IT teams spend less time firefighting, and the student experience improves significantly. As many educators shared, technology is at its best when you don’t notice it, and that’s only possible with dependable infrastructure underneath.
Bett 2026 reinforced just how committed the education sector is to building resilient, future-ready environments. It was a fantastic few days of meaningful connections and shared ambition, and we’re proud to continue supporting educational institutions in bridging the gap between innovation and reliable infrastructure.
